Secondly…. that’s what Brian Vickers‘ will look like next year…. it’s a hot design, a little different, but I’ve got a few questions and observations lately…
- Why hasn’t Elliott Sadler said
anything about where he’s going lately?
Apparently there’s a rumor that Mark Martin
might be back in the 6 next year because the
little guy they picked to take it over isn’t
ready yet…. I say Elliott should go to the 6.
That way him and best bud Jamie McMurray
are not only butt mates, but teammates.
- David Gilliland as the Candyman. Never. Sorry. The M&M car will never be the same.
- I love Tony Stewart with all my heart, but I’m tired of hearing the same old story about how moving back to his hometown changed him. That wast he basis of the Brickyard 400 last year… find a new theme.

Chad from Indianapolis, Ind.: Tom, I agree that Stewart’s black flag was deserving. So was Edwards’ black flag. Where I’m having trouble with the black flag is NASCAR does not appear to be consistent. I don’t understand how Jeff Gordon was not black-flagging when he got into Matt Kenseth at Chicagoland. Or Kenseth being black-flagged for spinning Gordon at Bristol. The term “racing deal” is awful loose.
Tom Jensen: Chad, you’re absolutely correct about the black flag being awful loose. Truth be told, sometimes a little controversy over who should and shouldn’t be penalized isn’t a bad thing. It gives us all something to talk about.
